Sofia Lall

Undergraduate Student Researcher

Sofia is a fourth-year honors student at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with certificates in Disability Studies and Conceptual Foundations of Medicine. She joined the SNAP Lab through a summer internship and continues to research spectrotemporal modulation sensitivity in adults under the direction of Hari Bharadwaj. She also works in the Laryngeal Biology Lab with Lea Sayce, studying vocal fold muscular atrophy. After graduating in May 2026, Sofia plans to pursue graduate studies in audiology or occupational therapy, with a particular interest in pediatrics. Outside of academics, she enjoys going on walks, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
